DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valve
DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valve: Overview & Features
Also known as bellows sealed globe valves, DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valves adopt automatic girth welding to form a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere, achieving a zero stem leakage design.
Internally, the valve features a bellows structure. The lower end of the stainless steel bellows is welded to the valve stem via a stainless steel gasket to prevent corrosion of the valve stem by the process fluid. The other end is placed between the valve body and the bonnet to form a static seal. Equipped with a dual sealing design, if the bellows fails, the stem packing will also prevent leakage. The bellows is welded to the valve stem to maintain stable operating performance and avoid stem vibration caused by disc vibration. It is most suitable for pipelines carrying steam, flammable, explosive, heat transfer oil, high-purity, toxic and other media.

Key Features of DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valve
For the bellows sealed globe valve, its key component—the metal bellows—has its lower end welded to the valve stem assembly via automatic girth welding and the upper end welded to the connecting plate via automatic girth welding, forming a metal barrier between the fluid medium and the atmosphere to ensure zero stem leakage.
The valve disc adopts a conical design, with the sealing surface forming a streamlined shape with the medium, resulting in better sealing performance and longer service life.
Dual sealing design (bellows + packing): If the bellows fails, the stem packing will also prevent leakage, complying with international sealing standards.
The valve bonnet is equipped with a built-in grease fitting, which can directly lubricate the valve stem, nut and bushing—unlike traditional valves that only lubricate the threads.
Application Fields of DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valve
DIN Bellows Sealed Globe Valves are widely used in petrochemical, chemical fiber and textile, plastic and papermaking, power and steel, printing and dyeing rubber, natural gas and other gas industries. They have safe and reliable performance and are extensively applied in industrial fluids such as ethylene glycol. The bellows sealing design eliminates the shortcomings of ordinary valves, such as fast stem aging and easy leakage. It not only improves energy efficiency, enhances the safety of production equipment, reduces maintenance and frequent repairs, but also provides a clean and safe working environment.
