The lift check valve automatically opens and closes the disc relying on the flow of medium itself to prevent medium backflow. When the medium flows in the specified direction, the disc is pushed open by medium force. When medium reverses, the disc closes automatically under reverse medium pressure, making the sealing surface of disc and seat tightly fitted.

Application Fields

Lift check valves are suitable for pipelines under various working conditions in petroleum, chemical, pharmaceutical, fertilizer, power and other industries, with nominal pressure PN16-PN40 and operating temperature ranging from -20℃ to 350℃.

Working Principle

A lift check valve is a check valve whose disc slides along the vertical centerline of the valve body. It can only be installed on horizontal pipelines; a ball can be adopted as the disc for high-pressure small-bore check valves. Its valve body shape is the same as that of a globe valve, resulting in a relatively high fluid resistance coefficient. Guide sleeves are machined on the upper part of the disc and the lower part of the bonnet. When the medium flows forward, the disc is opened by medium thrust. When medium flow stops, the disc falls onto the seat by self-weight to prevent medium reverse flow.
