Product Overview of Manual Control Solenoid Valves

Manual control solenoid valves incorporate manual switch control on the basis of electromagnetic switching. After the solenoid valve is closed automatically, it can be opened manually; alternatively, it can be manually reset after being opened automatically. The key design is adding a manual device to the original solenoid valve body, which serves as an emergency switch when the solenoid valve is de-energized. It is frequently applied in gas and natural gas emergency shutdown systems.

Working Principle of Manual Control Solenoid Valves

1. Manual Control

When the handle arrow is parallel to the valve body flow direction arrow, the solenoid valve is set to computer automatic control. When the handle arrow is rotated 90 degrees clockwise, the solenoid valve opens and switches to manual control (subject to the stainless steel limit slot). Rotating it 90 degrees counterclockwise closes the solenoid valve.

2. Automatic Control

When the solenoid valve coil is energized, the movable iron core is attracted, and the pilot hole opens, reducing the pressure in the upper chamber of the piston. The main piston opens due to the medium pressure difference, allowing medium circulation. When the solenoid valve coil is de-energized, the movable iron core resets by spring force, and the pilot hole closes, increasing the pressure in the upper chamber of the piston. The main piston closes due to the medium pressure difference, cutting off the medium flow.
