Cryogenic Pressure Reducing Valve
Cryogenic Pressure Reducing Valve, also known as cryogenic pressure regulating valve, imported cryogenic pressure control valve or cryogenic pressure regulator, is installed on cryogenic storage tanks. It maintains the pressure of cryogenic liquids (liquid oxygen, liquid nitrogen, liquid argon, liquefied natural gas, LO₂, LN₂, LAr, LNG, etc.) within a specified range. In other words, this valve reduces the high inlet pressure upstream and stabilizes it to the required pressure at the downstream outlet.

Structural Features
1. Cryogenic Pressure Reducing Valve features compact structure, small size and light weight with sensitive regulation and excellent stability.
2. Equipped with an adjustable device for convenient pressure setting.
3. The valve undergoes deep cryogenic treatment and can withstand temperatures down to -196°C.
4. The gaskets maintain reliable sealing performance and resilience under ambient temperature, low temperature and temperature fluctuation conditions.
Working Principle
When the medium pressure inside the storage tank is lower than the set value, the valve remains closed. Once the medium pressure exceeds the set value, the force exerted by the medium on the diaphragm overcomes the spring force. The diaphragm moves upward and lifts the valve plug to open the valve. The medium flows to the outlet to reduce the tank pressure. The valve closes again when the medium pressure drops below the preset value.
