Y-Type Globe Valve
Y-type globe valve is a straight-way globe valve. Its stem forms an angle with the flow passage, and the seat sealing surface is angled relative to the inlet and outlet channels. The straight-way design enables fluid to flow with nearly no flow direction change, delivering relatively low flow resistance among all globe valves. It is widely used in petrochemical, metallurgy, chemical, power plant and other industries.
The flow channel of the Y-type globe valve is inclined to the main flow path. Compared with conventional globe valves, it causes less disturbance to fluid flow, resulting in correspondingly lower pressure loss across the valve.
