Manual ball valves drive the valve stem by rotating the handle or handwheel, which drives the ball to rotate 90° to realize the opening and closing control of fluid. They have the characteristics of compact structure, reliable sealing, and convenient operation 68. Their valve bodies are mostly made of stainless steel, carbon steel or special alloys, and the seals are made of polymer materials such as PTFE and PPL, which have both corrosion resistance and wear resistance 35. They are suitable for fluid control in fields such as petroleum, chemical industry, electric power, and pharmaceuticals.

Product Performance of Manual Ball Valves

Due to the good self-lubricating properties of materials such as PTFE, they have comprehensive characteristics of small friction loss coefficient with the ball, stable performance, not easy to age, wide temperature application range and excellent sealing performance. The ball of the ball valve is floating; under the action of medium pressure, the ball can produce a certain displacement and press tightly on the sealing surface of the outlet end to ensure the sealing of the outlet end. The valve seat has good sealing performance; the sealing ring made of elastic materials such as PTFE is easy to seal in structure, and the sealing capacity of the ball valve increases with the increase of medium pressure.

The sealing raw materials adopt standard PTFE, PPL, carbon fiber, etc. The products are formed by high-temperature pressing, cooled, and precision processed by CNC lathes. This ensures the sealing and wear resistance of the products, thereby greatly improving the service life of the products and reducing maintenance costs.
