Electric Actuated 3-Piece Ball Valves
The electric actuated 3‑piece ball valve is assembled by angular‑stroke electric actuator and 3‑piece ball valve. It is suitable for two‑position shut‑off and regulating applications. Direct connection is adopted between valve body and actuator. The electric actuator comes with built‑in servo system, no extra servo amplifier is required. It can operate with 4‑20mA input signal and 220VAC power supply. It features simple wiring, compact structure, small dimension, light weight, low flow resistance, stable and reliable action.

Working Principle
The actuator directly receives 4‑20mADC or 1‑5VDC control signals output from computers or industrial instruments with 220VAC power supply. Intelligent step adjustment (PID regulation) is performed for the driving motor according to deviation between valve position feedback signal and set value, so as to realize precise positioning for valve or other devices matched with the actuator, meanwhile output 4‑20mADC position feedback signal. Its core control component electronic servo controller is developed with modern digital technology for DCS/PLC standard, integrating signal acquisition, processing, feedback and control. Original electronic brake circuit plus mechanical damping device eliminate inertia for instant stop without oscillation during positioning, positioning accuracy reaches above 0.3%. SCR output ensures fast action, stable output and high reliability. Small‑size, lightweight, reliable performance, simple matching and large flow capacity. It is especially fit for viscous, particle‑containing and fiber‑medium working conditions. Currently this valve is widely used in industrial control systems of food, environmental protection, light industry, petroleum, paper‑making, chemical, teaching & scientific research equipment, power industries.
Structural Features
Electric Actuated 3‑Piece Ball Valves have low fluid resistance, among the lowest of all valve types. Powered by AC220V, AC380V or DC24V voltage, they can be controlled and operated upon receiving current or voltage signals (4‑20mA, 0‑10mA or 1‑5V DC). The torque output in angular stroke rotates the ball 0~90° to complete on‑off or regulating actions.
The all‑electronic electric actuator adopts an integrated mechatronic structure, with built‑in servo operation, position feedback of opening signal, position indication and manual operation functions. It boasts powerful functions, reliable performance and simple wiring. By inputting current or voltage signals, it changes the rotation angle of the spherical core (any angle from 0‑90°) to achieve proportional regulation.
The spherical core channel is smooth and flat, preventing medium deposition and enabling pipeline pigging. With a simple structure, light weight and excellent sealing performance, it is particularly suitable for occasions requiring zero leakage rate.

Installation Steps of Electric Actuated 3‑Piece Ball Valve
Before installation, shut off relevant pipeline valves and make sure internal pressure is fully released.
Ensure firm connection between electric actuator and ball valve.
Connect power supply and control signal cables strictly according to actuator operation manual.
After installation, test manual and electric operation to verify normal opening & closing performance.
Complete wiring and earthing in correct sequence during actuator installation for safety and reliability.
Carry out function test and leakage test after installation to guarantee normal operation and reliability.
