Electric High-performance Butterfly Valves
Electric high-performance butterfly valves are suitable for high-frequency opening and closing working conditions. With their excellent sealing performance, long service life and exquisite appearance, they have successfully replaced traditional butterfly valves, ball valves, gate valves and other valves in many occasions. They are used in: medium-temperature water systems, compressed air, vacuum systems, corrosive materials, and olefin materials. Electric high-performance butterfly valves adopt a double eccentric structure and use a variety of materials including those meeting NACE requirements and abrasion resistance.
Structural Features
Double eccentric structure: The two eccentricities of the valve stem and butterfly plate realize that the seal is separated instantly when the valve is opened, reducing friction loss and improving service life. The double eccentric butterfly plate is matched with the arc surface valve seat, the mechanical friction coefficient of the sealing surface is only 0.07, with little wear, easy opening and closing, which effectively extends the service life, achieving 200,000 opening and closing times without failure and 2,000,000 opening and closing times without metal damage.
"Groove"-shaped arc surface sealing ring: a: Sealing ring material: Glass fiber or carbon fiber (PTFE, RTFE, FPT) can be added according to the medium temperature and pressure to achieve higher working performance. b: Effectively utilize the shape deformation of the "groove"-shaped arc surface sealing ring. When the butterfly plate is closed, the valve seat is squeezed to produce micro-deformation, realizing elastic sealing with uniform specific pressure and no leakage. c: When the butterfly plate is closed, the shape deformation of the "C"-shaped structure can effectively utilize the pressure of the forward and reverse medium itself to achieve bidirectional undifferentiated sealing.
Axial packing with V-shaped overlapping design: Under the axial pressure of the packing gland, it realizes self-energized sealing, effectively preventing external leakage. Suitable for working conditions with high-frequency opening and closing actions.
The valve shaft is connected to the butterfly plate with side pins, which effectively improves the strength of the valve shaft (the shear resistance of the valve stem).
Both ends of the valve shaft are equipped with special wheel hub-type opening positioning rings, which effectively prevent the valve shaft from moving up and down when the butterfly plate is opened or closed, thereby directly causing the actuator to collide and cause air leakage.
The four edges of the butterfly plate are chrome-plated, then processed by CNC machine tools, polished, electropolished and other multiple processing procedures, and the surface finish of the sealing surface reaches level 11 (mirror level).
The valve cavity is equipped with an over-torque limit device to prevent the actuator from excessive torque or other sudden situations, leading to over-closing of the butterfly plate, resulting in damage to the sealing ring and internal leakage.
