Electric ceramic ball valves
Electric ceramic ball valves are made of high-performance zirconia ceramic materials, all formed by cold isostatic pressing, sintered at high temperature, and precision machined. The parts have good compactness, high dimensional and geometric accuracy. They feature high hardness (RHA87--92), excellent mechanical strength, corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and high-temperature resistance. Both the ball core and valve seat are made of zirconia engineering ceramics, with small friction coefficient and reliable sealing.
Performance Features
All parts in contact with the medium are made of structural ceramic materials, whose chemical stability and hardness (Rockwell hardness HRC90) are second only to diamond. Therefore, this valve has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, as well as good heat insulation and small thermal expansion. The ball is manufactured by grinding equipment and processes, with high sphericity accuracy and good surface quality. After lapping with the valve seat, good sealing performance can be achieved by utilizing the self-lubrication of ZrO2 ceramics. It completely overcomes the shortcomings of metal hard-seal ball valves, such as easy leakage, large torque, and poor corrosion resistance of the sealing surface. Ceramics have excellent wear resistance.
Application Fields
Strongly corrosive occasions such as the chemical industry. Product features: corrosion resistance, wear resistance and high hardness.
