Straight Through Diaphragm Valve
Straight‑through diaphragm valves are mainly used in applications with high risk of clogging. The valve body adopts weir‑free straight‑through flow channel, which allows medium to pass through smoothly and reduces medium retention and accumulation inside the valve.
Straight‑through diaphragm valves are commonly used for slurries, sludge and media containing solid particles. Under such working conditions, reducing clogging risk is more important than precise flow control, which makes straight‑through design a better choice.

Structural Design
The straight‑through diaphragm valve has no weir inside, and the medium flows directly through the valve cavity. Thanks to this feature, it is suitable for viscous fluid, cement slurry and precipitable fluid. Compared with weir‑type diaphragm valve, straight‑through diaphragm valve requires longer diaphragm stroke, which limits the optional range of synthetic rubber materials for diaphragm.
1. Elastic sealing diaphragm serves as opening‑closing component to guarantee zero internal leakage.
2. Streamlined flow path brings low pressure loss.
3. No stuffing box structure, so there is no external leakage.
4. The diaphragm isolates valve body from bonnet. Parts above diaphragm including bonnet and stem are protected from medium corrosion.
5. Replaceable diaphragm reduces maintenance cost.
6. Test and inspection comply with BS6755 standard; lining layer adopts spark detection test.
