The forged steel cryogenic globe valve is suitable for the management system of low-temperature liquid storage and transportation equipment, featuring flexible opening and closing as well as reliable sealing. It can also be used in the management system of other low-temperature and cryogenic media.

Design Forms

There are two bonnet design forms for forged steel cryogenic globe valves:

The first is the bolted bonnet. For valves designed in this form, the valve body and bonnet are connected by bolts and nuts, and sealed with spiral wound gaskets (made of 316 stainless steel clamped with flexible graphite). A metal ring connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements.

The second design form is the welded bonnet. For valves designed in this form, the valve body and bonnet are connected by threads with full-weld sealing. A full-weld connection can also be adopted if the customer has special requirements. Gate valves, globe valves and ball valves can all be designed as cryogenic valves. To be used at a low temperature of -196℃ (320°F), the valves are generally designed with extended bonnets.

Product Features

1. The product design and manufacturing comply with ANSI B16.34 and E101 standards, and can be used with imported equipment.

2. The valve cavity adopts a pressure self-sealing structure, and the higher the internal cavity pressure, the better the sealing performance.

3. The sealing surfaces of the valve disc and valve seat are overlay welded with Stellite cobalt-based hard alloy.

4. The valve bonnet stuffing box has a reasonable depth, and the packing is added with corrosion inhibitor, ensuring reliable sealing and smooth opening and closing.

5. The valve is equipped with an upper sealing structure to ensure no external leakage through the valve stem when the valve is open and in operation.
