Pneumatic Ceramic Lined Ball Valves are suitable for high-corrosion, high-abrasion, high-temperature and medium-pressure working conditions, as well as media containing high-hardness particles or soft particles with corrosiveness, and other strong corrosive and abrasive fluid media. They are mainly used for cutting off or regulating fluid media under harsh working conditions.
Features of Pneumatic Ceramic Lined Ball Valves
All parts in contact with the medium are made of structural ceramic materials, which have extremely high chemical stability and hardness (Rockwell hardness HRC90), second only to diamond. Therefore, this valve has excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, erosion resistance, as well as good heat insulation and small thermal expansion.
The ball is manufactured by grinding equipment and processes, with high sphericity accuracy and good surface quality. After lapping with the valve seat, excellent sealing performance can be achieved by utilizing the self-lubricating property of ZrO₂ ceramics.
The good wear resistance of ceramics makes this valve durable, highly reliable and long in service life, which is 2-4 times that of titanium alloy valves and Monel valves.
It has unique advantages when used in media with high-hardness particles or soft particles with corrosion, and is currently the most suitable valve for such media.
