Product Detail

Product Overview

Compared with ordinary valves, the pneumatic ductile iron butterfly valve features a simple, compact and lightweight structure with easy pipeline connection. Equipped with a pneumatic actuator, it realizes automatic 90° on-off action and stable fluid control performance, covering a wide range of industrial application scenarios.

Pneumatic Actuator Type

FA: Double-acting type

FAS: Spring return type (auto-close)

Product Features

This valve adopts a drop-proof seat and valve body integrated structure. Press-fit and bonded seat structure is applied to valve sizes from 2 inches to 12 inches, while larger sizes are equipped with replaceable seats. The drop-proof seat structure enables maintenance-free operation under high flow rate and vacuum working conditions, effectively reducing fluid impact and facilitating on-site pipeline installation.

1. The maximum applicable fluid velocity is 4m/s for valves ≤12 inches, and 3m/s for valves ≥14 inches.

2. Valves ≥14 inches can be customized for 30 Torr vacuum applications as non-standard products.

Selection & Installation Precautions

1. Automatically operated valves must be reasonably designed to avoid excessive load and vibration impact on the valve body.

2. Do not install the valve on the secondary side of elbows with variable flow velocity, the downstream of transducers, the secondary side of control valves, or the discharge side of pumps, which may cause severe vibration and valve damage. If installation in these positions is unavoidable, install the valve at a distance of about 10 times the valve nominal diameter (10D).

3. The installation position and posture of the valve shall fully consider the impact of flow velocity and pressure fluctuation in the pipeline system.
