Sanitary Check Valves - Overview, Working Principle & Parameters

Sanitary check valves are mainly composed of valve body, valve disc, spring and sealing elements. The valve body is formed by forging or casting process, and its surface is treated with electrolytic polishing to meet the requirements of sanitary cleanliness. The clamp (quick-install) connection structure adopts ISO standard clamp design, which can realize rapid docking and separation between pipeline and valve. Some models are equipped with automatic venting function, which reduces medium residue through the design of inclined fluid channel.

Working Principle

When the medium flows forward, the valve disc overcomes the spring resistance to open under the action of fluid pressure; when the medium flow rate decreases or reverse flow occurs, the valve disc automatically closes under the action of spring force and reverse pressure difference to prevent medium backflow. Some models adopt two-way medium-driven design, and the greater the reverse pressure, the more significant the sealing effect.
