Product Overview

The stainless steel free float steam trap is applied in steam heating equipment, condensate recovery systems, and working conditions requiring rapid condensate discharge. It can automatically, quickly, and continuously discharge condensate, effectively prevent steam leakage, and achieve optimal heating efficiency. Based on the principle of buoyancy, the float inside the valve body moves up and down with water level changes to open or close the valve, realizing the function of draining water and blocking steam. It is particularly suitable for steam equipment with low pressure, low water displacement, high temperature stability requirements, and those not suitable for retaining condensate. The trap can discharge continuous saturated water, minimizing condensate retention in equipment, enabling fast temperature rise and stable heating temperature. Equipped with an automatic air venting device, the free float steam trap is free from air lock, operates stably, and produces no noise. It features continuous drainage, stable performance, large water displacement, and small water leakage.

Working Principle

Utilizing the buoyancy principle, the float rises and falls with water level changes according to the amount of condensate, automatically adjusting the opening of the valve seat orifice to continuously discharge condensate. When condensate stops entering, the float descends to the bottom by its own weight, closing the valve seat orifice for drainage. Since the valve seat orifice is below the condensate level, steam and water are naturally separated to form a water seal, achieving zero steam leakage.
